Do this now
Open Photos
Tap Photos on the Home Screen.

Show written steps
- Open Photos. Tap Photos on the Home Screen. The Photos library opens as a grid of pictures.
- Choose one picture. Tap the picture you want to share. The selected photo opens full screen with the Share button visible.
- Tap Share. Tap the square with the upward arrow. The share sheet opens with Messages among the available apps.
- Choose Messages. Tap Messages in the row of sharing apps. A New Message screen appears with the selected photo attached and an empty To field.
- Enter the person’s name. Type the person’s name in the To field. Matching contact suggestions appear below the To field.
- Choose the person. Tap the correct person in the contact suggestions. The selected person’s name and the attached photo appear together, with the send arrow ready.
- Send the photo. After the right name and one selected photo appear, tap the upward arrow once. The selected photo is sent to that conversation.

Open Photos
Tap Photos on the Home Screen.
You should now see: The Photos library opens as a grid of pictures.

Choose one picture
Tap the picture you want to share.

Tap Share
Tap the square with the upward arrow.
You should now see: The share sheet opens with Messages among the available apps.

Choose Messages
Tap Messages in the row of sharing apps.
You should now see: A New Message screen appears with the selected photo attached and an empty To field.

Enter the person’s name
Type the person’s name in the To field.
You should now see: Matching contact suggestions appear below the To field.

Choose the person
Tap the correct person in the contact suggestions.
You should now see: The selected person’s name and the attached photo appear together, with the send arrow ready.

Send the photo
After the right name and one selected photo appear, tap the upward arrow once.
You should now see: The selected photo is sent to that conversation.
